Thanks for the rv on vandolism to my userpage. No idea how I've annoyed anyone. Curious! Essexmutant 09:42, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Mistake
Hey User:B1link82 is me, check the IP if you don't believe. I want to change what was on there to nothing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.68.244.9 (talk • contribs) 22:13, 28 December 2005
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for the redirect from Normal (2003) to Normal (film). I created Normal (2003) not knowing that the other page already existed, and the redirect is a good idea. Thanks for your bold decision.

[edit] Maoririder
I think you are correct that User:Jingofetts is User:Maoririder. What is the current status of the Maoririder block? If it is still in effect, I believe that the policy is immediately block sockpuppets of blocked users, regardless of the good behavior of the sockpuppet. Do we need a stronger case? ike9898 19:39, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Maoririder aka whoever is trying to learn about Wikipedia i repeat myself I will try and make things happen. Thanks. Jingo --Jingofetts 19:47, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
I think this is unquestionably the same user, but I don't think he's being malicious. He just loves being here as part of a larger community. This is, however, against the rules. I'll leave word on Maoririder's page. Thanks for the heads-up. - Lucky 6.9 21:45, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] cameron crazies
Eskog- I find this very interesting. By using the word "tenting" does that mean one of the Cameron Crazies can build a tent to, in effect, hold their place in line? If so - how would anyone know which "line" their tent was in - the UNC game? maybe Wake? It would be chaotic.
Otherwise, do the students physically live in the tents?
I have seen pictures of tents oustide Cameron Indoor - I will give the students at best "overnight." I would be very interested to read your well documented information on the Cameron Crazies.
Thanks Cdunker 07:05, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
-
- Tents are numbered, and records of the tents and their occupants are kept by student monitors. At least one student must be in the tent at all times, and a minimum of six (raised to eight) must be there overnight. Spot checks are random and frequent, and if a tent misses more than one spot check, it's bumped to the back of the queue. I've left a note on your talk page with a link to an article describing some of the rules around tent policy; please feel free to ask if you have any other questions. -Colin Kimbrell 02:39, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Baseball on Wikicities
Hello ESkog, Googie Man here and I want to ask you something as a fellow baseball fan on Wikipedian. Jimbo and Angela have made a new webstie called Wikicities. This link in particular will take you to the baseball Wikicity. As you'll see it's similar to Wikipedia, but my hope is this will allow baseball fans to do more and different things, like reporting on games, in depth statistics, create mulitple pages for pictures, and whatever else baseball fans care to create. You've done great work on Wikipedia and I was hoping you could help get this baseball Wikicity off the ground. Please let me know what you think either at my talk page, or you can email me at terry@wikia.com. Thanks! Googie Man(Talk), 15:09, 5 January 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Sorry
I agree, but I hope you give the same message about removing items from the "Request unprotection" page to Woohookitty, who is continually vandalising the page. Rules apply to all. —the preceding unsigned comment is by 212.120.225.115 (talk • contribs) 18:42, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adventures of Tintin
Hello, Why have you moved Adventured of Tintin to Adventures of Tintin when the page is on requested move back to its original name which is Minor characters in Tintin. Before moving a page, you 'must have a look at its history and talk page, to avoid mistakes like this. the page was moved from A->B and I requested an admin to move it back to A (which is clearly indicated on the talk page, and which I cannot do myself because page A has been edited meanwhile), but then you move it from B->C, which further complicates the matter. Glaurung 08:24, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
-
- Thanks for your reply. I do assume good faith, but also a little bit of laziness, for you could at least have a look at the history before making the move... Logically, a page which is this long cannot possibly survive with such a silly title, so something was obviously wrong. As I have put the article on the requested move page, listing what needed to be done, I corrected it to reflect your new move. Besides, moving a page implies choosing an appropriate (new) name, and this particular pages does not deal with the Adventures of Tintin, there is The Adventures of Tintin for this subject matter. This page is clearly about (minor) characters appearing in Tintin, which you would have noticed if you took the time to look at the page before moving it. I agree that the big mistake was not made by you, but by the user who made the first move, but I just wanted to tell you that before your next move, you should take a look at the history and talk pages, and it is always better to discuss moves on the talk page, so the a page's regular editors can give their advice, and maybe explain the reason for a strange name, which can not seem obvious. Happy editing Glaurung 08:53, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Funny story
I've never had this happen to me before. Lol, when you moved the original page to List of NHL players with 1000 points, I was still in the middle of editing, and when I finished it got just a little confusing, but I got it right. It was the right thing to do and this is not a complaint, I just thought you'd like to hear it. Croat Canuck 03:49, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

Hey, just wanted to give you a heads up that the same guy from last week over at Bruegger's Bagels seems to be at it again. I did not alter the aligator page. I do not know what you are talking about. Of course I am on a school computer so it is possible someone else from this IP did. 169.204.191.197 18:36, 19 January 2006 (UTC)Azazel
[edit] User:207.224.177.252
Has had a long string of unenforced "final warnings". I just reverted vandalism on Coral calcium from this IP, and have had to undo several edits on Chandler High School which the user seems to have a personal vendetta against. There is a clear consensus that this IP contributes little to no information in exchange for the documented and numerous acts of vandalism that has had to be cleaned up. *sigh* Hope this gets resolved soon, and until then, have a good Wiki day. ^_^ -- Miwa 23:02, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Not Commercial
I do not own or represent KCmenus, I think it is a useful guide to find dining in kansas city. It is comprehensive and has helped me to enjoy nightlife in KC. I am not even from KC, but rather I travel through there often. I think it adds value to the page to explain the full concept of Kansas City. Kansas city is know for it's culinary pleasures including KC strips and steak sauce. Those reseaching Kansas City will be interested in its culinary destinations. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrkrannawitter (talk • contribs) 07:19, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Not a spammer
Additionally, I do not like being labeled a spammer. I am a sincer contributor and do not appreciate being labeled. I am sure that MANY find a dining guide a great contribution to a city site. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrkrannawitter (talk • contribs) 07:25, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I think the link belongs!
I will keep adding the link to the restaurant guide. It's not my business, and its not commercial. It doesn't charge anyone to locate restaurants in KC. It serves as resource for the city and holds with KC's reputation of good food. I will keep adding this link! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrkrannawitter (talk • contribs) 20:01, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ATHF
I added the word "(true)" before "rumor" to the ATHF page, in regards to the ET cartridges in the landfill. It's easy to find references to its truth, e.g. http://www.snopes.com/business/market/atari.asp and I think it would be unfortunate if someone reading the ATHF page came away with the false impression that it's only a rumor. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.27.69.167 (talk • contribs) 03:50, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
