A tag has been placed on Miguel A. Jordan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

this is not a resumée posting website

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jru Gordon 09:28, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] UFOs and Resumes

Hi there, welcome to wikipedia. We follow a policy of No Original Research, i.e., no contributor can add anything which are their own research. All text here must be verifiable and attributed to reliable (preferably third party) sources. This clause allows us NOT to differentiate between any arbitrary reader to, say, a researcher. Thats why having an article on yourself, posting your CV, will not matter. Plus, if you write your own article, it will be flagged off as conflict of interest. Once your contribution meets these criteria, choose any article and write away.

As for creating new articles, it has to be notable enough. Notability is judged mainly by the level of mainstream media exposure the subject has received. Generally a few media reports suffice. Plus the article has to state why the subject is notable.

Hope this helps. Please read the links, they document the policies we follow. Feel free to contact me for any assistance. --soum talk 10:45, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
