[edit] A welcome from Sango123
Hello, Esgenoopetitj, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- If you haven't already, drop by the New user log and tell others a bit about yourself.
- Always sign your posts on talk pages! That way, others will know who left which comments.
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- Simplified Ruleset
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Wikipedia Glossary
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.
Happy editing!

P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)
[edit] Burnt Church
Oh yes, absolutely; please fix any mistakes I may have made, and do so with both my blessings and my apologies. You know, I've never actually visited the Maritimes yet (though I've been housemates with Maritimers from time to time), so I yield to your expertise. For awhile I was going around trying to populate Wikipedia articles on northeastern North American First Nations generally, although I haven't been active on that scene of late. As the wiki grows, I hope more and more people who actually know what they're talking about can come in and fill the breach! ;-) Best, QuartierLatin1968 01:31, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
- As I have said, I am going to keep learning - is it better that I "respond" to a talk post like this? and keep it local. (i.e., Do you still get a notice of new messages if I edit this?) I "answered" you by posting on your talk page. Sorry if I'm making a mess of things. We'll get there. -- Esgenoopetitj 18:52, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Error when saving
I noticed your question on Sango123's page. Don't worry, I had just the same thing 20 minutes ago when I was trying to save a page I was editing. It must have been a database error on Wikipedia's servers. This happens from time to time and I find it very annoying! But at least everything's working again now! JRawle 14:36, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Combining Wikipedia entries
Hi again, Esgenoopetitj. I hope you find these responses helpful.
- If you feel Burnt Church, New Brunswick should be a separate article, simply replace the redirect page with some content.
- It sounds like you're thinking of merging the articles. Helpful information can be found at Wikipedia:Merge.
- Feel free to change any stub label as you see fit. The entire list of stub templates is at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types.

P.S. To produce a signature and timestamp, type four tildes (~~~~) instead of three. Thanks!
