He lived in England and Norway for 32 years. In 1986, Eser had his first art display and from that date onwards has exhibited his work in many different countries (Norway, Turkey, USA, Canada).

[edit] Works and their background

The works of this painter, one of the top modern artists as far as his drawings and paintings are concerned, are produced on meditation of existential fears and intimate harmony of human life. He sustains that he never followed a particular school of art or artist before the Norwegian experience (under Nerdrum). But Afacan, in his works, still maintains personally the echo of experience under Odd Nerdrum.

[edit] Painting technique

The technique of the artist is based upon intermixing tempera (which is opaque) and oil paints (which is transparent). It is one of the modern techniques that fully use integration of both types of paint applied on the paintings.
