Reconstrucción aproximada, de la máxima figura adorada en el Coricancha, según crónicas estaba hecha totalmente de oro. Representa en general al dios sol (Inti), en su centro aparece representado Viracocha. Denominado actualmente escucdo echenique, es usado actualmente como escudo oficial de la ciudad del Cusco, en reemplazo del impuesto por los españoles.
