Escort Cup

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Escort Cup was an Australian rules football competition.

It ran in the 1970s and was an interstate carnival played in Victoria, the home of the Victorian Football League. Teams from the WANFL (including Swan Districts, Claremont and South Fremantle) and the SANFL competed in the competition with VFL sides.

The Collingwood Football Club was once forced to wear a one-off clash strip against Swan Districts, a motion that has been heavily opposed by the current Collingwood administration.
