A convicted ex-Petty Officer escapes from prison and (claiming to be innocent) forces Gibbs and Fornell to reopen his case to find the real culprit.
[edit] Notes
- One of the antique items that the team finds in Mickey's house is a first edition Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain. Hal Holbrook, who played Mickey, is best known for portraying Twain in a one-man show called Mark Twain Tonight.
- The name of the character Russell Nash is a possible reference to Highlander (film) in which Russell Nash is the alias used by the immortal Connor MacCleod, whose identity is traced by the New York police department
