Escape From Planet Monday is DJ Fresh's album from 2006. A hit Drum and Bass album having positive reviews and a general positive response to Fresh's solo project. The former Bad Company UK, DJ's influences range from typical Drum and Bass to Pendulum-esque heavy synthetic lead Drum and Bass. These influences blend producing inventive tech-step Drum and Bass.
Escape From Planet Monday has several adjoining tracks such as the intro tracks, and The Looking Glass. The Looking Glass and a hidden track at the end of Throw feature spoken word vocals from Jeremy Beadle. The Looking Glass is a fairly ominous look at life, and how it could be viewed from a different perspective "through the looking glass". The hidden track at the end of Throw also features Jeremy Beadle trying - quite unsuccessfully - to advertise the album and persuade the listener to purchase it, it includes Beadle struggling with genre specific terms such as 'shiznit' to comic effect.
