[edit] standalone year dates

WP guidelines on dates do not support links to standalone years, except in some cases when the year article provides information that supports the contents of the main article. I do not find this to be the case with this article. Also, section headings in articles are never supposed to have linked words, dates or otherwise. It is possible though, that timelines might have different rules or customs that I have not noticed. Thanks Hmains (talk) 18:20, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
