If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alf melmac 20:58, 29 November 2005 (UTC).
- Hello Erz, and welcome to Wikipedia! I know someone else has welcomed you, but I just wanted to make you feel welcome and give you a place to shout at. So if you have any questions, feel free to give them to anyone, not just to Alf and I. I look forward to your contributions! --Master of Puppets 04:56, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
- Ditto! No one can feel welcome enough...so welcome!--ViolinGirl 21:08, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Pressure Garments
There are pressure garments that you can buy instead of having to wrap them, I have some, and well I can't say I like them (I'm 16) but they do the job, sometimes it's get to hot in them though. If you want to consider this option, the company that makes them is BioConcepts. They're custom made, and you'll have to be measured every inch and a half I believe up your leg. They're expensive, 200 dollars maybe, I'm not sure, in Canada we have free health care haha. But yeah, good luck.

I have tried several different kinds of pressure garments, but none of them work for very long or are too hard to put on. The short-stretch compression garment is the only thing that has really worked for me so far. Thanks for your comments, though. :o) Erzahler 20:10, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Organ
Would you be interested in joining/starting an Organ project? I have found a Pipe organ/refactor project but it doesn't seem to do a lot. There seems to be lots of work that needs doing, not just to the instrument pages, but also to composers/works etc. Best, Mdcollins1984 12:48, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
What did you have in mind? Do you mean organ composers such as Vierne, Widor, etc.? That might be an interesting project. Of course they, as well as JS Bach, wrote for other instruments also, but they did have a significant output for the pipe organ as well. Handel also comes to mind. Erzahler 17:36, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well just any Wiki information on the organ and therefore the repertoire also - for example getting Pipe organ to a very high standard, and giving good information about the composers, not just organ specific ones such as Vierne and Widor, but on the content of others also, yes. Maybe famous performers, Virgil Fox, Olivier Latry, Jean Guillou - anybody really. Having said that, I am on a Wiki break for a fortnight starting on Wednesday, so I can't do much until after that. Just creating somewhere for interested editors to pool ideas, and help each other with the various articles really.

Perhaps a brief synopsis on each composer who had significant organ output? Also there could be a sample listing of each composer's important organ works. There probably should be a nod towards the major pipe organ builders as well (i.e., Cavaille-Coll, E.M. Skinner, Schnitger, Hook & Hastings, etc.). Erzahler 17:50, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Category lymphology nominated for deletion
I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated this category for deletion. It only has one stub article in it and seems like a pretty esoteric subject to have its own category. If you have good reasons for keeping the category, you can explain at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 April 21. Thanks. -RustavoTalk/Contribs 02:55, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lymphedema
Welcome back, Erzahler. Awien 23:32, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the welcome! I needed a little time away from Wikipedia, mainly to retreat and regroup, as they say! :o) Erzahler 18:29, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Magnetic Amplifiers" article
I am currently working on the article magnetic amplifiers. Been trying to figure out how to format and write this article using the outline on the talk page. Reference material for this subject is rather sparse. If you can help out on this page, I would really welcome and appreciate the help!
There are two separate pages: magnetic amplifiers which I am working on, which is more of an historical article, and the magnetic amplifier page, which is a more technical article. I am working on the former.
(New author) I had the pleasure of using and seeing the schematic of a two stage magnetic amplifier that was used to control the magnetic field of a large electromagnet. It had a large DC gain and with a resistor for feedback produced a gain of near 1000. The DC input, I presume was from a spinning coil in the magnetic field, some few millivolts and the output of the amplifier was some volts, used to control the magnet (3 phase AC input)power supply. As I remember the AC source for the magnetic amplifier was a few volts at an audio frequency and there were two sets of reactors (maybe two reactors). The output from the first set was fed as input to the second set to produce the large power gain. The intermediate connection did not to my knowledge involve any nonlinear parts such as transistors or diodes and the output was a voltage source proportional to the input voltage similar to a DC op-amp circuit. Unfortunately I did not copy the page and it is likely lost from the University of New Orleans Physics Department. I am trying to figure out how this worked and possibly recreate a crude replica. - Charles (august04@verizon.net) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.164.33.26 (talk) 02:10, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
