Ervin Rustemagić

Ervin Rustemagić is a comics producer and distributor, born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was the founder of Strip Art Features in Sarajevo, as well as the magazine Strip Art of the former Yugoslavia which won the Yellow Kid Prize of Lucca, Italy as Best Foreign Comics Publisher in 1984.[1]
A known agent in the European comics industry, he represents artists such as Hermann Huppen, Bane Kerac and Joe Kubert.[2]
His personal plight documented by telefax during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina was the theme of the graphic novel Fax from Sarajevo by Joe Kubert.[3] This work was awarded with both an Eisner Award and a Harvey Award in 1997.
