From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am currently on a quest to improve the quality of the article Stop the ACLU. I am watching it, but since I don't check Wikipedia every time I get online, I might not notice changes to the article right away. I check my email often, so if you see that something needs to be changed, let me know at kingofnatar@hotmail.com. Especially alert me of vandalism to that article.
Oh, and personal opinions on Wikipedia:
- Wikipedia is... an encyclopedia??? No, I think not. It might try to be one, but due to the way it can easily be vandalized, and/or false information inserted, I'd actually call Wikipedia more of a knowledge base. Lots of info to be found, but not 100% accurate.
- Wikipedia also seems to be a largely amoral or, even worse, immoral place. If one is looking to find immorality, it doesn't take much searching to find it here. I don't think that an actual encyclopedia would hold such immorality, so this is a second reason that I prefer not to call Wikipedia an encyclopedia, but rather a knowledge base.
- Wikipedia does try to be an encyclopedia though. I have to give it credit for that. It seems that most problems with Wikipedia are due to vandals and other brands of ne'er-do-goods. It is not the desire of Wikipedia as a whole to be crappy, and so I endeavor to aid it in improving its quality. Perhaps, someday, I will be willing to call Wikipedia and encyclopedia. That goal I wish to help this site achieve.
I'm saving a link to this version of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", since it contains a decent list of running gags:
