Ertuğrul Günay (b. 1948, Ordu, Turkey) is a Turkish politician. He is currently the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey. He was appointed in August 2007.

A member of parliament of the ruling AKP, he was formerly a leading member of the social-democrat opposition party the CHP, at one point campaigning to be party leader and mayor of Istanbul until he was expelled in 2004, following clashes with the leader Deniz Baykal. Politically, along with Mehmet Bekaroğlu, he was seen as representing the left but with a background of respect for Islamic values,[1] and he entered parliament as a member of the AKP in 2007, the most-prominent ex-CHP member.
His published works include writings on Bosnia, a country he visited during the troubles there.
