The fact that Ernie Merrick is a manager of an A-League team shows how poor quality the A-League is. How can this guy be a coach of a top-flight team? While South Melbourne had Tommy Docherty, Ferenc Puskas and Frank Arok as coaches, Melbourne Victory have this nobody Ernie Merrick. What a joke.
