Ernie Goldthorpe

Ernest Holroyde Goldthorpe (born June 8, 1898 in Leeds died November 5, 1929 ) was an English footballer who played as a forward. He played for Tottenham Hotspur, Bradford City, and Leeds United before joining Manchester United in 1922. In 1925, he was transferred to Rotherham United. In 27 matches for Manchester United, he scored 30 goals.
