Ernie Fazio

Ernie Fazio is a former Major League Baseball player who played for the Houston Colt .45's and the Kansas City Athletics. He debuted in the majors on July 3, 1962. In 1963 he was able to play in 102 games for Houston by filling in at second base, third base and shortstop. He hit both of his major league home runs in that year. In 1965 he was traded along with Jesse Hickman to the Kansas City Athletics for Jim Gentile.
