Ernie Barrett

Ernie Drew "Black Jack" Barrett (born August 27, 1929, in Pratt, Kansas) is a retired American basketball player. He played collegiately for the Kansas State University.

Barrett was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 1st round (7th pick overall) of the 1951 NBA Draft and played for the Celtics (1953–54, 1955–56) in the National Basketball Association for 131 games.

He now works in the athletic department at his alma mater; Kansas State. He is known as "Mr. K-State."
