Ernesto Fabián Canobbio Bentaberry commonly known as Nestor Canobbio (born March 8, 1980 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan football player, who currently plays for Celta de Vigo of the Spanish La Liga.
Nestor began his career with CA Progreso in 1997. In three seasons there he was impressive enough to be signed by Uruguayan giants Peñarol in 2001. There he spent two seasons scoring 26 goals in 73 matches.
In 2003 he was picked up by Valencia CF, where he would spend one year mainly as a substitute. In 2004 he signed with Celta de Vigo where he remains today. He has already appeared in over 100 matches for Vigo and scored 20 goals.
