Ernest Zobole

Ernest Zobole (1927-1999) was a Welsh painter and art teacher.
Zobole was born and died in the Rhondda valley. He trained at the Cardiff College of Art, leaving in 1953 to take up a teaching post in Llangefni. He later taught in South Wales and lectured at Newport Art School. In 1996, he was made an Honorary Fellow of the University of Wales, Swansea.
