Ernest Upham

Ernest Frederick Upham (born 24 March 1873 in Wellington - died 23 October 1935 in Paekakariki). He was a New Zealand cricketer who played for the Wellington in the 1890's and the 1900's. He batted right-handed and bowled right arm medium pace.
In 40 first-class matches Upham scored 598 runs at 12.20 and took 226 wickets at 15.01 with a best of 7/24. He also played for New Zealand twice against Australia in 1905, 25 years before New Zealand gained Test status.
