Ernest Riedel (July 13, 1901 – March 26, 1983) was an American canoer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics and in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
In 1936 he won the bronze medal in the K-1 10000 metre competition. In the K-1 1000 m event he finished fourth. He also competed in the K-2 1000 m event with his partner Burr Folks but they were eliminated in the first round.
Twelve years later he finished 12th in the K-1 10000 m competition.
