Ernest Harper (2 August 1902 in Sheffield–died 1979) was a long-distance runner from Great Britain, who won the silver medal in the men's marathon at the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany. He ran for The Hallamshire Harriers in Sheffield, the same club for which Sebastian Coe ran during the period when his father was a cutlery factory manager.
