[edit] Plot
Ernest (Jim Varney) purchases several jewels from a street vendor that (unbeknownst to Ernest) have been stolen from Africa. He attaches them to a yo-yo and presents it as a gift to Rene (Linda Kash), a waitress that he has a crush on. She turns Ernest down, explaining that they cannot be together because she wants to date a man that is more adventurous. Unfortunately, both are then tracked down by two African henchmen, who kidnap them and bring them to Africa. Ernest escapes, but must somehow rescue Rene while navigating an unfamiliar continent and encountering various obstacles.
