Ermete Zacconi

Ermete Zacconi (September 14, 1857 in Reggio EmiliaOctober 14, 1948 in Viareggio) was an Italian stage and film actor. Representative of naturalism and verism in acting.

Lead actor in dramas of William Shakespeare, Carlo Goldoni, Alfred de Musset, Henrik Ibsen, August Strindberg. He performed in movies, most notable roles are:

  • L'emigrante (1915)
  • Processo e morte di Socrate (1939)
  • Le Comte de Monte Cristo (1943)
