Erling Lae (born 16 March 1947 in Oslo) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.

He is the current chairman of the city council of Oslo, the capital city of Norway. As such he heads the executive branch of the city government. He has been a city council member since 1991, and was a city councillor between 1997 and 2000.

Lae is openly gay.[1]
