The Erlangen Sharks are the first American Football-team in Erlangen, Germany. The Sharks play the offensive formation known as the indirect-snap Double-Wing offense.

The Sharks 2007 regular season game results:
- Game 1: Defeated the Schweinfurt Ball Bearings in Schweinfurt 40 to 32.
- Game 2: Lost to the Bamberg Bears in Bamberg 8 to 18.
- Game 3: Lost to the Straubing Spiders at home 14 to 20.
- Game 4: Lost to the Kümmersbruck Red Devils at home 20 to 38.
- Game 5: Defeated the Schweinfurt Ball Bearings at home 40 to 8.
- Game 6: Defeated the Bamberg Bears at home 14 to 7.

The Erlangen Sharks finished 2nd out of five teams in the 2007 Göttingen Bowl losing to the Göttingen Generals in the finals 22-14. The Sharks defeated the Lauda Hornets, Magdeburg Orcas and Münster Mammuts on their way to the finals.

The Sharks 2006 regular season game results:
- Game 1: Defeated the Bamberg Bears in Bamberg 40 to 16.
- Game 2: Defeated the Augsburg Raptors at home 50 to 14.
- Game 3: Defeated the Bavarian State Wolverines in Pölling 24 to 3.
- Game 4: Lost to the Kümmersbruck Red Devils at home 12 to 24.
- Game 5: Lost to the Starnberg Argonauts at home 42 to 55.
- Game 6: Defeated the Augsburg Raptors in Augsburg 28 to 22.
- Game 7: Defeated the Bavarian State Wolverines by forfeit 20 to 0.
- Game 8: Defeated the Kümmersbruck Red Devils in Kümmersbruck 36 to 32.
- Game 9: Lost to the Starnberg Argonauts in Starnberg 16 to 48.
- Game 10: Lost to the Bamberg Bears at home 28 to 46.
With a 6-4 record, the Sharks place 3rd behind Starnberg (8-1-1) and Bamberg (7-3).

The Erlangen Sharks finished 2nd out of six teams in the 2006 Göttingen Bowl losing to the Göttingen Generals in the finals 14-8. The Sharks defeated the Kassel Predators and Obertshausen Blizzards on their way to the finals.
