Erkan Mustafa (born 14 May 1970) is a British television presenter and former actor. He is most noted for the part of Roland 'Row-Land' Browning in Grange Hill (BBC 1982-1987). Unlike most of the other young actors in Grange Hill, Erkan did not attend a stage school; he auditioned for and won the role after having been found during a nationwide search.
Other parts include:
- Fat Orphan in Blackadder's Christmas Carol (BBC 1988); and
- Otto in Chef! (BBC 1991)
In 1993 Channel 4's "The Word" tracked him down to a friend's record shop where he was helping out. He then appeared on This Morning's Grange Hill reunion in 1998. In 2005 he appeared in the Grange Hill reunion programme Bring Back Grange Hill.
He is no longer acting but recently he got his own slot with Lee MacDonald on E4 Music.
