"Back At One" by Brian McKnight (Peaked at #1)

The song "Back At One" by Brian McKnight peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 1st, 2000. It's even listed on Billboard's official website as well as Billboard's Hot 100 chart history on Napster.

Infact, I have some pictures from each source for proof. Take a look at these pics

Billboard.com - http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/1179/hot100againlp6.jpg

Napster/Billboard Chart Archive - http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/8460/hot100ao6.jpg

How much more proof do you need that it peaked at #1?? - —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.130.71.52 (talkcontribs) 16:57, 3 June 2007

Yeah, You're Right

Sorry about that, I myself just checked out the Index of the "Billboard Book of #1 Hits" on Amazon.com and "Back At One" was not even listed for 2000.

That's strange that they would change it, even on Billboard's official website - —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.130.71.52 (talkcontribs) 18:03, 3 June 2007

Non-free use disputed for Image:Rapture.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Rapture.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:36, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

DID U CREATE ALL THE TRACK LISTING ARTICLES FOR GOOD GIRL GONE BAD?

IF SO:

I thought of doing so; since I'm into what you edit. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a personal blog. People rely on wiki for RELEVANT information. You cannot go around making articles for every song on an album, unless they are all singles and have significant points to them. Most of the articles are not relevant due to the fact that they're just short descriptions saying that they're tracks on Good Girl Gone Bad. They should be deleted as no confirmation as singles is known of them. Although they are MY personal favorites, people rely on wiki for RELEVANT information. You cannot go around making articles for every song on an album, unless they are all singles much more significant points to them than just that they are on the album. I HAVE BEEN VERY REPETETIVE--MikeyT 02:22, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Err, no, I nominated them all for deletion. What the hell? - eo 11:19, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
MY Bad...I Looked @ The Histories and they ALL had u on them as the last to edit. Unfortunately, I was very tired and so I had poor judgement. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. There ain't the need for harsh words. They just lead to more harsh gestures.--MikeyT 17:45, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Apparently, you don't know that if someone is a FEATURED artist on a #1 song, then it goes to count for their chart history. You're no billboard statician...so quit sending me your worthless spam messages, as you are NOT associated with billboard magazine, nor are you employed by Billboard's publishing company. TAYLOR DAYNE

Someone keeps changing the wording in this article and constantly changes Taylors album sales #'s. I am Taylor's partner in her production company and work closely with her, and she is distressed at constant inaccurate changes to this page. Wikipedia has become a big resource for information on her for many people as she embarks on releasing her new album and as she films her reality show which follows her through the process "Tracking... Taylor Dayne"

Taylor has sold over 25 million albums worldwide (this number includes albums, greatest hits, and many Taylor Dayne licencensed hits/dance collections worldwide) and over 50 million singles worldwide (everywhere from Los Angeles to Latvia, I didnt even know where Latvia was til I saw it on the royalty statements. Someone keeps changing the # to 10 million which is completely inaccurate. What do we have to do to make sure this page is edited properly and factually? do we need to fax in royalty statements?

As well other info on her new single "Im Not Featuring You" and other info on her new show also get deleted.

Please let us know what to do, the minute we change it it flips right back, this is unfair and unethical as whomever is editing this page does not have the access to the information on her sales as we do. Please advise, it is much appreciated.

Thank you,

Don Luciano DDL Productions (Drescher, Dayne, Luciano Productions) 1654 North Doheny Drive West Hollywood, CA 90069

Re: 76.7.121.99

While all he did was add quotes to the article, the main fact that he was not supposed to be here. This IP is a sockpuppet of BenH, who was community-banned for making false and superfluous changes to various articles. And because he was banned, the following Wikipedia rule follows in this case:

Warning Wikipedia's banning policy states that "Any edits made in defiance of a ban may be reverted to enforce the ban, regardless of the merits of the edits themselves. As the banned user is not authorized to make those edits, there is no need to discuss them prior to reversion."

I know you have a right to add the quotes, but I hope you understand why I had to revert -- it's the rules. -- azumanga 00:40, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Weather_Girls_Raining_Men.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Weather_Girls_Raining_Men.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Is there a reason that You deleted ext. links to the videos? feydey 19:52, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

As far as I know links to outside webpages with the entire music video violates copyright. - So You think the Eurythmics' music video (C) 1983 released by SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT (UK) Limited on youtube is a violation of whose copyright - Sony's? Like, if the artist has the music video on their homepage - are we forbidden to link there? Wikipedia:Copyrights#Linking_to_copyrighted_works says: Wikipedia is not restricted to linking only to GFDL-free or open-source content. I think it would be best to actually check where the ext. link goes, instead of blindly deleting them, or? Best, feydey 20:17, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Britney Spears discography: Album Sales

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Britney Spears discography. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Please make sure you review the talk section of this article regarding Album Sales information which is currently under dispute. Do not re-add sales information to this article in the future until this dispute has been resolved. Feel free to add your sources to Talk-Album Sales. Thank you. Tiggerjay 05:24, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Is there a specific reason why you did not simply revert the vandalism back to a blank statistic while a compromise is reach instead? By the very nature of having some 'disputed' figures posts will/has resulted in many needless edits of these disputed numbers. My hope is that we can keep this clear until a consensus can be reached. Thanks. Tiggerjay 17:18, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

No Mercy

Re your move of No Mercy (pop band) to No Mercy (band): You said in your edit summary that there was "no reason for disambig as no article exists with "band". This is not true; my edit summary when I moved (band) from (pop band) pointed out that No Mercy (American band) existed; that article has since been moved to [[No Mercy (metal band)], but the problem is the same: there are two bands named No Mercy, one metal and one pop. Please re-move the article. Thanks. --zenohockey 03:41, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Britney Spears discography - input needed

You recently have contributed to article talk page regarding Album Sales. In an attempt to resolve this conflict, we have opened up a simple place to help sort this out at: Talk:Britney Spears discography#Album_Sales. This is an attempt to find a consensus regarding reliable and accurate sources. Currently only two people have contributed to this list, and I would hate for you to miss out on chipping in your two cents. The rules are simple.... Simply enter in the source you consider a reliable source of figures for the album sales. The other fine print is on the talk page. With your help, I hope we can end this debate -- if only for a short while. :) Thanks again, Tiggerjay 00:45, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
