[edit] Infobox possiblity

I ran across an infobox that looked pretty nice here, in case you're interested. Ingoolemo talk 06:19, 2005 September 6 (UTC)

[edit] Two quick questions

Hi. First, with regards related content template, which I have just converted my Hawker Tornado article to, if one of the sections doesn't apply (eg designation series), are you supposed to delete that line from the template entirely, or just leave it blank? For the moment I have done the latter, but this has resulted in some unequal spacing. Secondly, I have put up a request for another tornado picture on the requested images page, but frankly I doubt whether anyone who would have one will notice it. Therefore would it be possible for the wikiproject aircraft (which I have joined), to bring in it's own requested images/articles subpage or whatever, because that would be more likely to attract the right sort of people. Thanks--Xiphon 18:13, 1 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Specs standards

As you may have discovered, I have spammed (wince wince) the Specs Survey respondents with requests that they take part in resolving the issues on the talkpage. My reasoning for this (though sadly, I didn't make it very clear), is that it makes more sense to have any potential policy changes decided upon before we implement the template, so that the new standards can be applied at the same time as the template is added. If you'd like to take part in the discussion at WT:Air, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Ingoolemo talk 08:08, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

Rich Farmbrough made an interesting suggestion on our templates: why not just combine the {{{value main}}} and {{{value alt}}}, so that the editor types |empty weight=10,000 lb (4,500 kg). I personally prefer the version we developed, but I said that I'd ask you to voice your opinion as well; you can do so at WT:Air. Thanks, Ingoolemo talk 01:32, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Airport_traffic_pattern.jpg

There is a discussion going on at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates because User:Ceejayoz nominated the image as a featured picture candidate. I have long been of the mind that diagrams/charts aren't really in the same category as featured pictures, so I made the suggestion that there be a new index of charts/diagrams (possiblt titled Featured Diagrams) for that type of image. Iwas just wondering if you had any thoughts on this? We're discussing this on the Wikipedia talk:Featured picture candidates page, so if you have any comments, please let us know. --ScottyBoy900Q 22:18, 6 October 2005 (UTC)

I have the pleasure of telling you that the image has now been promoted to featured picture. Congratulations! Raven4x4x 05:43, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
