[edit] Current Project

My current project is adding an infobox to every county in Wisconsin! You can track my progress below:

[edit] Spam

You have been previously blocked for spamming Wikipedia. You agreed in February to stop all editing of external links in exchange for not being blocked again. You have violated that agreement. Therefore I am blocking this account, and will block any future account you create. -Will Beback · · 18:22, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

  • I did not add any external links to any site. You can view my contributions, you will notice that I have not added any external links anywhere. I don't know what you have against me whatever it is you need to grow up and drop it.
Here you added an external link: [1]. Here you deleted a link: [2]. You committed to do neither adding nor subtracting of external links. -Will Beback · · 00:29, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
After we agreed to the terms you immediately (within 5 minutes) blocked me from making edits for no apparent reason. (Probably because of that grudge you have against me) After that I kind of thought since you had already lied, that our terms were off. Do you want to give the terms another go? Fine with me if you don't.
No, you agreed to forego editing external links on 07:15, February 5, 2007 [3]. The one and only time this account was blocked was 18:25, March 12, 2007 [4]. -Will Beback · · 04:58, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
This is rediculous. When I first signed for a Wikipedia account my intention was to add my knowledge to this online encyclopedia. I was not thinking that there would be people that are such a pain in the ass. If I am going to go through this much trouble just making good faith edits then I don't think that I want to contribute my knowledge anymore.
I can't judge your intent, only your actions. You contributions here have largely been adding links to your own websites while deleting the links to competing sites. You've been warned and blocked repeatedly, and then given a another chance which you blew with your first edit upon returning. We appreciate the good faith edits you did make, but the others have been too numerous and disruptive to allow you to keep editing. -Will Beback · · 21:40, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:CNN-Screenshot.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:CNN-Screenshot.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ilse@ 10:08, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] John Deere tractor

You created this article so I thought I would notify you of its AfD, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John Deere tractor. It isn't that the topic doesn't merit encyclopedic inclusion, it most certainly does, it is that since you left the article it has descended into a blatant advertisement for the John Deere Company. Hopefully someone can salvage it. IvoShandor 12:18, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
