[edit] Languages of the US
Just wanted to reply to your message... I only changed the spelling because it seemed strange to use British spelling in an article about American languages. Sort of like if someone used Danish spelling in a Norwegian article, you know? Cheers Cbdorsett 15:27, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you for the reply. I didn't think of that, thanks for informing me. I will try to keep that in mind when editing in the future. Eric 15:30, Jun 19, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Honorary Citizen of the United States
If you check over the list of Honorary Citizen of the United States then I think that you'll see there have been six recipients. William and Hannah Callowhill Penn both received citizenship (not that it made much difference to them!). Cheers, -Willmcw June 30, 2005 08:51 (UTC)
- Sorry, my mistake. Thanks for pointing it out. Eric June 30, 2005 09:39 (UTC)

- Hm, well, I uploaded it, but later found out that it was again uploaded by another person already, but by another file-name. A version of it is being used at the Finland-Swedish article, so I believe that one must be removed as well. Eric 03:49, July 20, 2005 (UTC)
- I've made a copyright-free GNU version, and linked both articles to the new map.

- Thank you! It is well appreciated! Eric 14:27, July 25, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Native Latin speakers?
Greetings, fellow Latinist. If you have second, please cast your two cents in on the discussion of a category for native Latin speakers who are also Wikipedians. --Flex 13:04, 30 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Reguest for translation
Hi - I got your name from the list at Wikipedia:Translators available#Icelandic-to-English.
I have a request for translation, or at least help with input into the article on Jørgen Jørgensen which corresponds to the Icelandic article is:Jörundur hundadagakonungur. The Icelandic article was a featured article and the English one is a minimilistic stub. I believe there would be significant material to incorporate into the English-language article from the Icelandic wiki. While I will add some information about his Tasmanian life as a sailor, explorer and convict, Jorgenson was also the ruler of Iceland for 2 months - I know no more and it seems an amazing story. Many thanks, Regards --User:AYArktos | Talk 00:01, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for contacting me, I'll take up the responsibility as soon as possible. Eiríkr Rauði 10:42, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Help with Translation!?
Can you help translate this for me to swedish? Many thanks in advance!
Albania built its first railroad in 1947, and 40 years later Tiranë was linked to all other major industrial centres in the country. The highway network has been extended even to remote mountain villages. Air transport, however, remains largely underdeveloped. There is no scheduled domestic air service.

[edit] Translation -Renaissance Latin
We would need some help with the discussion at Talk:Ancient Greek phonology. It would be nice if you could translate the following passage, (quoted in [1] from Gerardi Ioannis Vossii, Aristarchus, sive de arte Grammatica libri septem etc., Amstelædami: I. Blaev 1635, Editio secunda 1662) 106f. We have already a translation at User_talk:Ανδρέας#Ecce Tradutionem but it is by an italian editor and his English is not perfect.
