Ellen Moore was a pilgrim orphan who rode on the Mayflower at the age of 8. She is believed to have died of the sickness that killed half the crew and passengers on the ship when the ship was in the harbor in the winter of 1620-1621. They think this because there are no records of her after this time. Ellen had two brothers and one sister. All four siblings rode on the Mayflower together and were given to different families to be watched. Ellen was watched by Edward Winslow's family.
