I'm 杨一业, and I frequently go by variants of Erik-the-red online. I'm an undergraduate accounting major at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born in Iowa City, Iowa to two Chinese parents, which makes me a part of the Chinese diaspora. I hold dual citizenship with Australia, where I lived for three years. In addition to Iowa, I have lived in North Dakota and Georgia.

I speak 普通话 fairly fluently. My accent has been influenced by Wuhan, Shanghai, Beijing, and Taiwan dialects. My literacy is limited, but I am working on that.
