[edit] Re-Added?

Well, this article, as well as Adam Faulkner, Jeff Reinhart, and Lynn Denlon have been re-made. The only one that was re-made and re-merged was Lawrence Gordon (Saw). Even though these were ALL voted to be merged, should Lawrence's article be re-made again? Jack Of Hearts | Miss A Turn 02:42, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Eric or Matthews

parts of the article call him Eric some parts Matthews. That last paragraph of "Eric's Test" was particularly confusing. In generally that whole section to someone who hasn't seen the movie like myself is difficult to follow. Mostly because of the constant switching b/w Matthews and Eric.

[edit] Spelling

Is the last name spelling correct? I could have sworn that when his named was shown written on the ceiling in Saw 2 that it was spelled "Mathews", not "Matthews." 72.14.125.25 23:39, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

His name appears in the credits as "Eric Matthews," but in that scene that you're talking about it's spelled with only one 'T.' I'm not sure if they did that on purpose or if it was a mistake, but the correct way is with two T's.Mechasam 19:48, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Heads up

I added the DVD reference, to the fact that Eric Matthews intended last name was going to be Mason. In the commentary Darren Lynn Bousman reveals that Mason was the name they were going for with Eric. Since it is mentioned in the commentary. Again, just a heads-up. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:36, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Production photos

Can anyone tell if this is Det. Eric Matthews? Not to sound remorse or anything. But just want to know. Zenlax Talk Contributions Signatures 20:12, 17 October 2007 (UTC) Thats his. DeadWood 16:47, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Thats him. DeadWood 16:48, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. I really wasn't sure. Zenlax Talk Contributions Signatures 19:42, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:DetectiveEricMatthews.JPG

Image:DetectiveEricMatthews.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
