Talk:Eric Crown

This article is a puff piece and is written in journalistic style hardly befitting of a scholarly encyclopedia. No sources are cited for any of its contents. What a joke. 86.134.211.242 19:17, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
I aggree that this article is a lot of fluff. Eric Crown is more lucky than visionary. Right place at the right time. He also predicted (Before the dot-com BOMB) that the future of commerce would become completely Web-Based...thus the name of Insight.com bowl...which was later changed. He fired almost all of his catalog staff, made Gods out of his Web Staff and almost completely stopped publishing catalogs, and advertising. He finally woke up after he realized after the dot-com BOMB that the Web was not the magic paperless world of commerce he envisioned.
Agreed the article is fluff but it is all basically true. The Company is likely be Fortune 500 in 2007, Note recent local article http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/business/articles/1012biz-insight1012.html. There are many previous article availiable in Forbes, Fortune, etc
