Talk:Eric (disambiguation)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I cut the list of "people named Eric", based on a VFD conversation. If someone feels strongly, they should put them back. I did also add Emotion Eric and ERIC to the list, though, so I'd prefer it if you didn't simply revert, but rather merged my additions into your edit, so they don't get lost. I do prefer the article without that list, though, and I'd have to see a good reason for listing people like George Orwell here just because his real first name was Eric. In response to George Orwell, how 'bout the fact that he's named Eric? I changed the list header to read "people named Eric," which makes more sense anyway.

[edit] A question comes up...

Should we also add people named Erich, Ericsson, and Eriksson? Eiríkr Rauði 12:39, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Erik the Viking

Should we include this one? Xbspiro 17:59, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Erick

Should the name Erick be directed here? It's another form the name Eric.

[edit] Eric Cartman

Someone who can should add him to the list of fictional Erics, I'm surprised he's not on there.

Disambig pages do not list persons which are not known only by the firt name. `'Míkka 16:20, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Eric Idle

Please add this Monty Python legend to the list of actors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.60.237.128 (talk) 03:47, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
