Erik Setiawan (born in Bandung, West Java, 23 November 1983) is an Indonesian footballer, he normally plays as a wing back and his height is 173 cm. He is former player for the Indonesia U-23 Team. As a footballer, he lucky enough cause feeling ever many touch from have a certain quality coach. Beside from local coach, he also ever came education child from foreign coach, Sergei Dubrovin, Bernard Schumm, Juan Paez dan Peter Withe. Sains transferred from this 4 foreign coach little influence to Erik look's corner.

"Many lesson enough which i take it from foreign coach. Beside discipline, they more tactis and simple in giving instruction", Erik's said. Although like that, he not really underestimate local coach. "The fact, with local coach communication can more than fast ", Erik's said. He became target opportunity by Premier League clubs in Liga Indonesia, but he wouldn't. "I want to still near with my family at Lembang and bring Persib to peak performance", the reason cause why he still defence in Persib. His contract Rp 500.000.000,- per season.

  • 4th Places Sea Games 2005 after lose 0-1 from Malaysia U-23 Team (take 3rd Places) at Manila, Philippines (with U-23 National Team)
