Richard Erik Owings known as Erik Owings (born December 6, 1979 in Covington, Kentucky) is an American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He is currently fighting for the New York Pitbulls of the International Fight League.

Owings has been living in New York City for the last three years and training at the Renzo Gracie Academy. He won his debut MMA fight at the IFL Legends Championship in 2006.
