Erik Norlander is an American musician who describes himself as a ''keyboardist', composer, producer and engineer'. Norlander produced albums by Lana Lane (who is his wife) and Rocket Scientists. He also has a progressive rock solo project - titled simply Erik Norlander - which has counted with the help of bassist Tony Franklin (Whitesnake, Blue Murder), guitarist Arjen Anthony Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One, Ambeon), drummers Greg Ellis, Ernst van Ee and Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio), celloist Cameron Stone, singers Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Lana Lane, Edward Reekers (Kayak) and Robert Soeterboek (guest singer for Ayreon).

In November 2007, he was announced as the keyboard player for the Asia spin-off, Asia Featuring John Payne.
