Released in September 2001, the Ericsson T66 remains the smallest and lightest mobile phone Ericsson (now Sony Ericsson) have produced to date.[when?][citation needed] At roughly the same length and width as a credit card (92 x 41 x 17.5 mm, or 3.6 x 1.6 x 0.7 inches), the T66 was extremely small. It weighed 59 grams (2.1 ounces,[citation needed] roughly the same weight as six British pound coins), and had no external antenna. The T66 was compatible with GSM 900/1800/1900 mobile phone networks.[1][2]
