Ericka Yancey is an R&B singer who signed to RCA Records in 1996. Her debut album Ericka was released March 1998 and scored two minor R&B hits on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart between 1997 and 1998. In 1999 she recorded a duet with R&B performer TQ.
From 1999-2004 Yancey spent time writing, producing or recording background vocals for such artist like Victoria Beckham, MC Lyte, Macy Gray, Brownstone, 3LW, MC Lyte, and Mary J. Blige.
