Erich is a town and a nagar panchayat in Jhansi district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

As of 2001 India census[1], Erich had a population of 8523. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Erich has an average literacy rate of 51%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 63%, and female literacy is 37%. In Erich, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
