Eric Svalgard

Eric Svalgard (June 5th 1955, Bronx, NY) is best known for playing keyboards for Project/Object, a band that plays the music of Frank Zappa. He is also the director of The Paul Green School of Rock Music in Wilmington, Delaware. He is the former director of the Downingtown branch of The Paul Green School of Rock Music.

Eric Svalgard joined Paul Green's school as a volunteer teacher in 2002 after seeing his daughter, Madi Diaz, perform the punk show at The Fire, a small rock club in Philadelphia. He became a part time paid teacher in 2003 and worked with Paul to teach the kids Frank Zappa music leading to their perfromance at the German Zappa festival, Zappanale. This trip was documented in the movie Rock School (film). He left the Philly school to manage the first franchise of the company in 2004, woking there for 2 years until opening hs own school in July of 2007, where he currently teaches.
