Eric Strauss is the director of the Environmental Studies Program at Boston College. He holds a PhD from Tufts University.
Professor Strauss is best known for his work with coyotes and his interests in Lyme Disease. He has a deep sense of responsibility and love for ecosystems. His work is his passion; he shares this with students in attempts to impart on them the same fervent interest. Strauss makes his home in Barnstable, MA where one of his research labs is located. The other lab is located at Higgins Hall on the campus of Boston College.
