Neustadter is frequently a co-host of Larry Hryb's "Major Nelson Radio" a weekly podcast produced by the Director of Programming for Xbox Live. Neustadter picked the gamertag e in the initial stages of Xbox Live as an abbreviation for his first name. Prior to taking the position with Xbox Live, he was working with Microsoft in another capacity.

[edit] Podcast

As a co-host of "Major Nelson Radio" Neustadter presents the weekly segment Xbox 101 (a segment devoted to interesting and sometimes underutilized features on the Xbox 360 or Xbox Live) as well as being a contributor to the rest of the podcast. Larry Hyrb picks on Eric Neustadter on almost every podcast for not finishing games yet Eric has a much higher gamerscore then Larry. Neustadter asserts that his gamertag "e" is not an allusion to any illicit drugs, that it actually stands for the first letter of his name[3].

[edit] Other media

In his role as Operations Manager for Xbox Live, Neustadter appeared in a video which was included with all consoles of the Xbox 360 when it was originally released. Neustadter is also credited as contributing to Halo 3 in the role of "Platform & Xbox Live: Microsoft Xbox" [4]
