Eric Martsolf (born July 27, 1971 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) is an American television actor and singer best known for his role as Ethan Winthrop in the NBC soap opera Passions.[1]

His first acting role, Professor Henry Higgins My Fair Lady. He sang on a Hawaiian cruise ship for a year and has modeled for over 50 designers, companies, and businesses. He was a radio broadcaster for WDCV 88.3FM and was a singer/dancer at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania for four years. He has a degree in Political Science from Dickinson College. He has been an Assistant Director and a Guest Artist for Children's Theatre Experience.

Martsolf urrently portrays Ethan Winthrop on NBC's Passions. He was voted favorite actor on Passions for 80+ weeks in a row in Soap Opera Digest and was pre-nominated for Daytime Emmy consideration consecutively in years 2002-2007. He was voted 2006 "ADONIS" winner by SoapHunks.net. He has portrayed Ethan on Passions since July 2002, when he replaced Travis Schuldt in the role. His character's pairing with Lindsay Hartley's Theresa is a supercouple. Eric auditioned for the role when the show first began. Also, before he played Ethan, he was in one episode as a Police Officer.

Martsolf has been married to Lisa Kouchak since 2003. They met while they were doing musical theater together. They had twin sons, Mason Alan and Chase Evan, on 7 April 2006. [1]
