Eric Jensen (driver)

Eric Jensen (born February 1, 1970) is a Canadian former professional race car driver from Toronto who competed in the Champ Car Atlantic Series series and Indy Lights series from 1997 to 2005. During that time he made 40 Atlantics starts, usually on a part-time basis, making his most season starts in 2003 (11) and finishing 12th in the championship. Jensen notched his best race finish in his final season of racing, 2005, with a fifth place finish in his home race at Toronto. He made 2 Indy Lights starts, one each in 1997 and 1998.

Jensen currently owns the professional car racing team Jensen MotorSport which continues to operate race cars in several professional race series. In 2007, the team operated race cars in the Champ Car Atlantic series for drivers Frankie Muniz and Tom Sutherland. In 2006, the team operated race cars in the Champ Car Atlantic series for drivers Tim Bridgman and Steve Ott. Jensen MotorSport also operated race cars for Frankie Muniz and Tom Sutherland in the Formula BMW USA championship.
