Eric Hall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eric Hall is a former showbiz and football agent famous for his flamboyant public persona, outlandish fashion sense and, above all, for his "monster, monster" catchphrase. His clients from his time as a football agent included Terry Venables, Dennis Wise, Tim Sherwood, John Fashanu and Paul Walsh.

Working as a publicist for EMI Records in the 1970s, he arranged the Sex Pistols' notorious, expletive-filled appearance on the Today show in 1976.

In 1995 he co-hosted a Friday evening show on Talk Radio UK with Caesar the Geezer and Gary Jacobs.

In 2001 the High Court ordered his company, Eric Hall Management Ltd, into liquidation.

He is currently working as a presenter in BBC local radio on BBC Essex and resides in Debden, Essex.
