Eric Dancer

Eric Dancer, CBE, JP was educated in Sheffield at King Edward VII School (photo) and Sheffield Polytechnic, where he was awarded a Diploma in Management Studies in 1965.

Former managing director of Dartington Crystal, Eric is the current Lord Lieutenant of Devon. He was awarded a CBE for outstanding service to business and training and in 1999 he received an Honorary Doctorate from Sheffield Hallam University.
