Eric Appel

Eric Appel is a comedy writer. He has written for MTV's Human Giant, The Andy Milonakis Show and Crank Yankers. He is also a frequent performer at "The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre" in Los Angeles -- the city in which he currently resides.

Eric Appel grew up in Endicott, New York. After high school, he attended and graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a degree in Computer Animation. After college, Eric moved to New York City to pursue a career in comedy and trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.

Eric also has a show on Turner's comedy website, Super Deluxe, called "The Subconscious Channel." The premise is that scientists have kidnapped Eric and stolen his brain, extracting its "deepest and dumbest thoughts," and using them to fuel a television network.

Eric now works for the website Funny or Die with Will Farrel.
